The EBLIDA-NAPLE Forum joint gathering was held in Helsinki over a four day period, with the main conference on Friday May 7, 2010. EBLIDA’s President, Gerald Leitner also CEO of the Austrian Library Association, briefly detailed what EBLIDA is and what its aims are. He also touched on one of the main issues that the organization has been involved with since the organization’s inception: copyright issues and how it affects freedom of information that libraries try to provide.
