The EBLIDA-NAPLE Forum joint gathering was held in Helsinki over a four day period, with the main conference on Friday May 7, 2010. NAPLE Forum chairperson María Antonia Carrato Mena from Spain’s Ministry of Culture explained NAPLE Forum and some of its cooperative efforts with EBLIDA. For example the 2009 Vienna Declaration and the push for a European Commission white paper on public libraries in Europe.
