Professor Birgit Mager is a specialist in Service Design from the Köln International School of Design. She was visiting Finland as part of the international lecture series organized by the Helsinki City Library as one of the year long events celebrating its 150th year. Here she briefly describes the field of service design and how a service oriented institution like the library could take advantage of its tenets.
