‘Libraries Now! – Inspiring, Surprising, Empowering’ is a theme in which the International IFLA Conference World Library and Information Congress gathered in Helsinki from 11th to 17th August 2012. An interesting week in Helsinki gathered almost 4,000 international visitors from different libraries.
During that week, we followed Maija Berndtson, head of the Helsinki City Library. Speeches, cocktail events, lectures, meetings, encounters … This video includes a selection of activities that happened during the week.
